A stone's throw away from the Zirmerhof vineyard lies the vineyard village of Pinzon. The village, an architectural ensemble with a very special appeal, is surrounded by the Pinot Noir vineyards and offers views across the South Tyrolean lowlands to the Meran Mountains. The romantic village square with its fountain and the the huge beech tree creates a magical atmosphere. A scene with mythical creatures on the walls of the historic building and the beautiful Stephanskirche church with its renowned Hans Klocker altar opens up to the observer.
The Gr眉nweinhof Estate stands palatial and sedate in the vineyards above the village. The first chronicled mention of the imposing court is from 1431.
A quite wonderfully idyllic place! Welcome to South Tyrol's Tuscany!
